Confirmation preparation helps young people deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ and become active witnesses of the Catholic faith. Through prayer, study, service, and participation in parish life, candidates grow in their understanding of the Holy Spirit and prepare to receive the final Sacrament of Initiation. Confirmation is not the end of faith formation, but the beginning of a lifelong commitment to living and sharing the Gospel.

At St. Peter Catholic Church, Confirmation classes are offered for students in 8th through 12th grade on Wednesdays from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, beginning each September as part of the parish Faith Formation program. Preparation includes classroom instruction, spiritual growth, and formation in the Catholic faith as candidates prepare to receive the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Adults who have not yet received Confirmation are invited to participate in OCIA preparation classes. Confirmation Classes for 8th-12 graders and OCIA for Adults meet on Wednesday evenings during the school year from 6:00 - 8:00 PM.

We will be using the Chosen Confirmation Program from Ascension Press. Please plan on attending the Confirmation Parent Meeting on Sunday, September 13th after 10:30 Mass in the Parish Library. If you haven't already registered, you can do so then.
